So far away right now,

If I could see somehow,

I imagine a breeze,

Among the trees.

Outstretched like a helping hand

I imagine a bright light,

In the darkness and dawn.

I imagine a fire,

A fire to admire.

Where I am free to roam.

The Scent of Home

As the last glimpse of home vanished

The scent came back to me

I could hear the daily chatter at home

Even if the waves clashed noisily on the shore of the sea

Now there is new beginning

A scent I don’t smell

Where I can start again

Even if I fell

My thoughts drift away

To the scent of my home

There is no boundary for my thoughts

They are free to roam

The fireplace roars with fire

The room is filled with light

But in here it is cold

The darkness of the night

The scent is so pleasant

Though the cold has left me so rigid

Just like the winter night at home

When I was a little kid

I smell also the scent of food

The freshly baked bread

Also I feel the soft green pillow

Still lying on my bed

My heart will always belong to the home

Where I spent all these years

Where the scent of home

Washed away all my fears

The Flame

Like the storm inside me

The flame burns strong

Sometimes I am afraid

That I'll go wrong

My life goes on

It'll never stop

Someday my passion

I'm afraid I'll drop

Just that flame

Will lead somewhere

Sometimes I feel

Life is so unfair

Friends

Please hold my hand

Fix my flaws

Be my friend

I don't need an applause

Have a chat

Don't mind my voice

Don't get sad

Or either mad

Share your feelings

The Dream

 

She came all dressed in white

She whispered in my ear

It is all right

Suddenly she turned away from me

She opened her wings

And flew so free

Then back again to me she came

With a smile filled with pleasure

She was a creature 

impossible to tame

 Holding me by one hand

She took me, to an untamed land

There were many others just like her

The queen wearing a robe of fur

I drifted past the land of beauty

I named it ‘DREAM’

Then waking up from my dream

With glee I thought of it all day

I will visit this land again

On my bed once I lay

Sunrise

The sky is clear
The stars are not seen
The sun is rising
Where had it been?

The orange and blue sky
Makes it worth to see
Birds are rising and chirping
Flying so free

Sunrise is beautiful
Just feel the great breeze
It will lead your day
Down a path of ease

New Year

We have been waiting so long

To sing this song

On New year’s eve

We shall sit together and pray

It shall be all good now

Now that its New year’s day

Make some resolutions

Follow them all year round

Sleep peacefully

And don’t make a sound

The New year day has come

All the chores are done

Celebrate with family and friends

Go out have some fun
