When she walked past me

Along with the wind,
I sway and think of her,
I think of how she walked past me,
Her coat lined with soft fur.

She smelled of a sweet scent,
Her lips were rose red,
Her rosy pink cheeks,
She walked like she had a crown on her head.

She had pale but fresh skin,
Big eyes that had a shine,
A light so beautiful,
I wish it was mine.

With her gentle fingers,
She stroked her soft blonde hair,
She looked at me and smiled,
To speak to her, I would not dare.

As gracefully as a peacock,
She walked past me,
She made me sit frozen,
With her youthful beauty.

If you really knew me

If you really knew me,
You would feel my pain,
My life has led me down,
To this dark and sad lane.

If you really knew me,
You would hear my cries,
Understand my heart,
Torn apart with lies.

If you really knew me,
You would try to feel,
The wounds that I have,
Which have failed to heal.

If you really knew me,
You would try to smell,
The scent of my life,
The story I have to tell.

If you really knew me,
You would be my friend,
My broken and damaged life,
You would try to mend.
